Device distribution, tracked by serial number

The distribution department of a consumer-services company ran on a manual workflow. Our engineering team replaced it with an online system that tracks devices and accessories by serial number, with reporting across the department's stock.

The client isn't named, for confidentiality.

As a Launch today, this would start with stock movements by serial number. Dealer requests and stock reports would follow as follow-on build weeks.

From first conversation to live software

You talk to one consultant from start to finish. Our engineers run the three weeks with your decision-maker.

  1. Tell us about the process

Fill in the fit check below. It tells us who's involved, what information moves and what "done" looks like.

  2. Agree scope and price

One scoping call gives you a short written scope and a fixed price. If it's bigger than a Launch, we say so before you commit.

  3. Pay and book your week

Payment in full reserves your start week. Nobody else can take it.

  4. Go live in three weeks

Setup & Discovery, Build, Handover. Then your team starts using it.

Week 1

Setup & Discovery

We set up accounts and access, confirm the screens, data and rules, and agree how we'll test it together.

Week 2

Build

Senior engineers build and test your application, using AI-assisted development on a proven open-source framework.

Week 3

Handover

We deploy to your domain, train your team, hand over documentation and confirm acceptance. Support starts.

Pick the week your Launch starts

Each start week holds one Launch. Choose an open week to see your timeline, then check your process fits.

  • Scope and price are agreed in writing before you pay.
  • A week is confirmed when it's paid in full. We don't hold weeks during scoping, so the first client to pay secures it.
  • You can move your start once, free, with two weeks' notice.

A short readiness checklist

Launches stay on schedule when a few things are ready before your start week. The checklist arrives the day you book.

If something's still missing at the end of week 1, we build with placeholders and finish at handover, or move your Launch to the next free week.

  • A named decision-makerSomeone who can make calls on the process, available during your three weeks.
  • Access to your domain and email settingsSo the application can live on your own web address.
  • Accounts for connected servicesFor example, the SMS or email provider the app will use.
  • Logos, wording and documentsAnything that needs to appear in the application.
  • Your existing dataFilled into our spreadsheet template, if you're bringing records across.

One price, everything to go live

Your price depends on the process and is fixed in writing at scoping. You pay once, in full, to book your start week.

Questions clients ask

What counts as "one business process"?

One workflow with a clear start and finish, such as a purchase request that goes through approvals and ends in an order. If yours is bigger, we split it into a Launch and follow-on build weeks.

Why do we pay in full before we start?

Because it reserves your start week for you and nobody else. Scope and price are agreed in writing first, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Who will we be working with?

Your consultant handles the scope, contract and payment, and stays your first point of contact. Our engineers run the three weeks with your decision-maker and look after the application afterwards.

Can we move our start week?

Yes, once, free of charge, with two weeks' notice. Later changes move you to the next available week.

What if we think of new features during the build?

We note them and quote them as a follow-on build week, so your launch date doesn't slip.

Who owns the software?

Your data is always yours. At handover you receive your application's source code, with a licence to the shared components it's built on.

Does it work on phones?

Yes, in any modern mobile browser. Native iPhone and Android apps aren't part of a Launch.

What happens after the first year?

You renew the support plan annually, at 40% of your Launch price. It covers hosting, monitoring, security updates, backups and bug fixes.
